What you can ask about
You do not need to fully understand the problem before you come. Bring the point of confusion, and I’ll help you work out the next sensible step.
What we can look at:
Websites, content + visibility
WordPress, page builders + updates
Forms, booking links + enquiries
Analytics + Search Console
Domains, hosting + setup
Accessibility basics
Fix, audit, or rebuild decisions
What this is
The Fix List Office Hours are live working sessions for people with practical website, content, or digital systems questions.
You can ask live, send a question in advance, listen in, or use the time as a quiet prompt to work on your own site or setup.
I’ll work through submitted questions and notes, live questions, and practical checks - all to help make website and systems decisions less vague.
How it works
1. Come with a question, note, or unresolved decision
You do not need to know whether the issue is technical, content-related, structural, or systems-related. Bring the part that feels unclear.
2. Ask live, send it in advance, or listen in
You can take part directly, submit something beforehand, or use the session as structured time to work quietly on your own site or setup.
3. We work out what kind of problem it is
I’ll help work out what is likely going on, what to check first, and what not to waste time on.
4. You leave with a clearer next step
That may be something to check yourself, something to ignore for now, something to fix, or something that needs private help.
If something needs private access, testing, or implementation, I’ll say so clearly and suggest the next sensible step.
What to expect
I’ll help you make sense of the issue as far as we can within the time.
Sometimes that means a clear answer. Sometimes it means knowing what to check next, what to leave alone for now, or what kind of help the problem needs.
The aim is not to solve everything live. The aim is to leave you less stuck.
Submit a question in advance
You can send a question in advance if you would rather not ask live, or if you want me to consider it before the session.
You do not need to write it perfectly. A rough description is enough.
If the question is too specific or complex to work through live, I’ll still use it to point you towards the most sensible next step.
FAQ
If your question isn’t here, send it over - I’m happy to answer.
Do I need to stay for the full two hours?
No. You can drop in for the part that is useful. You are also welcome to listen quietly if you do not have a question ready.
Do I need to ask something live?
No. You can ask live, submit a note in advance, listen in, or use the session as structured time to work on your own site or setup.
What can we look at?
We can look at practical questions or decisions around your website, content, search, forms, booking links, analytics, domains, hosting, accessibility basics, enquiry paths, or the digital systems around your work.
You do not need to know what category the problem belongs to before you come.
Can you look at my website live?
Usually, yes, if it is public and safe to discuss. I will not ask you to share passwords, private client data, sensitive admin screens, or anything that should not be public.
Will you fix the issue during Office Hours?
If it can be worked through responsibly in the session, yes, I’ll help you get as far as we can within the time.
Some questions have a clear answer. Some need testing, private access, or more context before I would be comfortable suggesting a fix.
In either case, you should leave with a clearer understanding of what is going on and what the next sensible step is.
What if my question is too specific or complicated?
That is fine. If it cannot be worked through responsibly in a public session, I’ll say so clearly and help you identify the next sensible step.
When should I book a diagnostic call instead?
Office Hours are a good place to start if you are not sure what kind of problem you have.
A diagnostic call is better when the issue needs private context, access to your site or tools, or more focused attention than a public drop-in session allows.
If you are unsure, come to Office Hours first. I’ll help you work out the next sensible step.
